    Agent 1.1.6 failed on IPCOP

    Hi,

    after zabbix agent start on the ipcop 1.4.13 I get the error message:

    FATAL: kernel too old
    Segmentation fault

    Ideas?

      Agent on IPCOP

      Hi,

      did you uses the standard agent or special compiled for IPCOP?

      I have running an older client on the COP, but off course compiled for
      the cop. The cop is using an old kernel, and has some special tools like busyBox.

      The standard agent will not run, I guess.

      If you are interested, and I have some minutes time I can compile the new agent for you. ( I can install it also on my cop)

      I have a development envirment for the cop, because I dealing with asterisk on IPCOP.

          i have installing net-snmp on the ipcop. I monitoring the cop with snmp.

              Hi Gerald,

              did you recompile the zabbix agent for the ipcop 1.4.13 and above ? If so, could you pass me the files ?
              I'm looking into where to download the dev environtment and how to set it up to build my own packages in the future.

              If you could help me on my way with this that would be great.

                  Zabbix on IPCOP

                  Hi Mayk,

                  yes I have compiled it. It is running on 1.4.12-1.4.15.

                  I tried to put the files here, but here are some space limits.
