    monitoring a cluster

    Hi,

I have a windows server cluster and would like to monitor the virtual server. I've created a host for the virtual server 'VSC01' and installed the windows agent on nodes on 'VSC01N1' and 'VSC01N2'. It worked fine until we had a failover - it seems to be stuck monitoring the original node. Seems like it should be looking at the new server.
    thanks.

    same issue

Hi, i faced the same problem on a Debian claster of virtual servers with zabbix 1.1.4, after zabbix server fails(or simply is down) -it stops to collect data from the virtual servers while others work fine. The issue can be "solved" by reattaching again the template with items..but items history up to moment get lost.

Does the cluster preserve original IP address after failover? If so, setup host to connect to the IP, otherwise use cluster DNS name.
