    Disabling Active Checks??

    Greetings to all,

Can anyone tell me how I can disable the active checks on my windows agent? Here is the snap of my zabbix_agentd.conf

I am able to monitor my windows agent very well using the server polling method but somehow in my zabbix_agentd.log file i always have the error

[28-Mar-2007 11:27:20] Active checks [Cannot connect to [10.239.18.61:10051] [No error]]

The configuration file is as follows

    # This is config file for zabbix_agentd

TIME_WAIT solution: what version does this refer to?

Does anyone know which version Bharathu was referring to here?

In our shop, we're running 1.1.6 (server & whatever agent that came with the official release) and there is always monstrous number of ports on each server left open - over a hundred - on every monitored windows box that has the agent running.

Was wondering if its safe to try 'the experimental' agent parameter described above or if it has ugly side effects that others have noticed...

Thanks in advance for any feedback....

      @ bobster

sorry for delayed response..i was out of action for last 1 month due to some hectic work...

      i was using version 1.1.6

so far i was not able to fix the issue that was getting reported in the agent.log file.... the server polling is working well...but at the same time i still keep getting this message in the log file as shown below.
