Multiple Servers Monitoring 1 server??

Has anyone tried monitoring 1 server with 2 Zabbix servers?

I have a number of Zabbix servers running for different clients, which already monitor them selves (for disk space etc..)

I want to monitor one server from another to give some redundancy, and to tell if the server demon dies on one.

I thought it might be possible to have 2 agentd's running with different names, each reporting to a different server.

Has anyone tried this? Could it break something?

If you don't use active checks, you may configure ZABBIX agent to accept connections from many IP addresses, parameter Server (comma-delimited list if IP addresses).
