Zabbix does not see web server running

I have zabbix monitoring (through agentd) web server status on a RHEL3.0 box and a Fedora Core 2 box. Both have a web server up. I do not see anything different in the actual Apache setup between them - same filesystem structure, both running on 80, both have proper entries in /etc/services, and the processes are both called httpd. However, Zabbix sees the RHEL webserver running, but does not see the FC2 web server running. Please advise?

I have the problem here that with the alpha version Apache is shown as down...... and it's running fine.

no firewall or something.
