Newbie ? - Unable To See Login Screen

    Hi All-

I'm new to Zabbix and am trying to install it for the first time - I've walked through all of the install steps and apparently must be missing something, because when I open the Web browser in the server box and point it to localhost, I am NOT seeing the Login screen... instead, I'm seeing the 'Index of...' the files on the server.

My server is successfully running, but I don't really know where to go to start troubleshooting or what I may have missed and am hoping that someone on here with more experience may be able to help me or point me in the right direction. I've went over the install steps several more times and cannot see where I missed anything, so any tips or advice anyone could provide me would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance for your time and help!

Do you have an index.php ? What happens if you click on it ? If it works, you should declare index.php as DirectoryIndex in Apache. If you see the content of the PHP file, you should install PHP.

        Hi- Thanks for the replies!

After much digging, I found a parameter setting in Apache that was incorrect; in the httpd.conf file, the "DirectoryIndex" was only set to "index.html" - I had to also include "index.php" in this!

So, after changing that and restarting the server, I was able to see the log in page and successfully log in.

        Thanks again for your time!
