Zabbix Server 1.4 dying (OS X)

I compiled 1.4 on OS X (10.4.9) with agent, server, and MySQL support.

The server runs for about 1 minute then dies.

I had 1.1.7 running without issue...

Also, This is a new install, not an upgrade...

Ideas?

I belive this may be related to some of already reported issues for 1.4. Please search recent posts for details. We are releasing 1.4.1 soon which will have all reported issues fixed.

I am getting the same issue here but I am on Solaris and I have 1.4.4 installed.

I had the same problem

I had the same problem, but im my case the UIDs and GIDs were wrong. I make chown -R zabbix:zabbix * and than work.
