    Issues with 1.4 Agent

    Hi,

    Before i was using 1.1.6 and all performance counter entries were configured in agent conf. Now i have installed the new agent (1.4) and copied the performance counter entries to this new agent conf file.

    I am not able to get any data from the performance counters and log says not supported, though this was working fine in 1.1.6. Need help urgently.

    TIA,
    Ravi

    Hi,

    AFAIK: the old "perf_counter" entries are no longer supported.
    You can use "alias" instead.
    But this is just from the top of my head.

    HTH,

    Norbert.

      Hi,

      Thanks for the suggestion,

      I have a perfcounter entry as below in the conf file -

      PerfCounter=Processor[Time],"\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time",5

      please suggest on how to change it to alias.

      TIA,
      Ravi

                In Your case:
                Alias=Processor[time]erf_counter[\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time]
