I can save and get values for this item

I can not save this item

    key: perf_counter[\Logischer Datenträger(_Total)\Lesezeit (%)]

-> Error: Key should contain '[]0-9a-zA-Z!_,)+.*\ $'- characters only

    Hi,

    it's the a-umlaut, I guess,
The frontend checks for certain characters.

    Regards,

    Norbert.

We are working on system-wide support of quotes for 1.4.1. Your key will look like:

      perf_counter["\Logischer Datenträger(_Total)\Zeit (%)"]

All characters will be allowed within the quotes.

        Hi Alexei

Look at the Attached Image !

There are no quotes and it works ;-) !

But the second item is the problem ...

        When is 1.4.1 avaliable ?

I think i will change from nagios/cacti to zabbix.
        It´s more than sexy .. :-))

This is because of the 'ä' character. Now we have more formal syntax for item key and trigger expressions.

              A similar problem...

              Hi, forum.

I'm creating a item with Zabbix aggregate and key:
              grpavg('europa','hrProcessorLoad.19','last','0').
              Zabbix say me:
Key should contain '[]0-9a-zA-Z!_,)+.*\ $'- characters only

              I did try:
              grpavg(europa,hrProcessorLoad.19,last,0)
              Zabbix say me:
Key does not match grpfunc('group','key','itemfunc','numeric param')

              What is the format?

Well. This is resolved in 1.4.2.
                The key was:
                grpavg['europa','hrProcessorLoad.19','last','0']

                Ok. This work.
Now, Id like to monitor the Proccessor load, with values from smnp on windows. I have two values: hrProcessorLoad.19 and hrProccesorLoad.20. What is the method to present the sum of value in a graphic?

The syntax was changed in pre 1.4.2 to:

                  grpavg["europa","hrProcessorLoad.19","last","0"]
