troubles with mac address in 1.4

I've upgraded to 1.4 and haven't been able to get the snmp query to show mac addresses, it just shows a blank. Used to work fine in the last version.. Anyone else trying to do this?

seems like a bug to me...

this is what an snmpget looks like for one device.

# snmpget -c public -v 1 172.16.2.30 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.2
IF-MIB::ifPhysAddress.2 = STRING: 0:60:xx:xx:xx:xx
(sanitized)

but since upgrading to 1.4 zabbix will not report anything for the oid.

Can someone humor me and tell me if they are able to query and display a mac address with zabbix.

It is fixed in pre 1.4.2 code. It can be downloaded from www.zabbix.com/developers.php.
