jabber error

I'm running Zabbiz 1.4 on FreeBSD 6.2
Just created account in Jabber, and test ok when using Exodus in Windows.
But I get the following error:
7043:20070621:191938 Timeout while answering request
7043:20070621:191938 JABBER: connection failed
7043:20070621:191938 JABBER: disconnecting

Anyone can help me to solve this problem?

Have you managed to resolve this? I am running Zabbix Server 1.4.6 on Debian Lenny (from apt-get). I added a media type "Jabber" with [email protected] + password. However that also results in:

 14342:20090102:110019 JABBER: disconnecting
 14342:20090102:110019 JABBER: connection failed

Am I doing something wrong?

I was having the same problems. To resolve it I had to create an account on jabber.org and use that instead of gmail.
