1.4 permissions and super admin account

I have a user group with 1 Super Admin and 1 Admin in it. This group has r/w access to all host group "A" and deny access to host group "B". When I login with Super Admin account and go to screen with graphs from host group "B" I get "Error: no permissions" message. Shouldn't Super Admin see all the informations regarding permissions set to his group?

Super Admin has read-write access to all tabs and all information. His rights can also be restricted by revoking access to some specific host groups.

So, you may have several Super Admins with different set of permissions.

Alexei, can you explain how I can reset all permission for the 'Admin' account? I'm finding out the hard way that my 'Super Admin' accounts have unpredictable access levels after upgrading to 1.4.

For example, the 'Admin' account cannot make changes to template linkage but the account I created for myself can. For some reason my account cannot display my most important host group.

        Thanks,

Shouldn't Super Admin has to be one and the only in all zabbix installation? I mean what's the point having Super Admins and Admins then. In my opinion Super Admin should not be blocked by ANY rules.

What is the difference between Super Admin and Admin?

Super Admin has rights to access Administration tab.

After further investigation, I realized that the "ERROR: Permissions Denied" is a general error. Looking at the database records I found that the template linkages had gone missing after my upgrade. It took a few hours of removing and reconfiguring templates but it forced me to implement some Zabbix host item administration I've been putting off.

I like how 1.4 allows template in parallel. This makes things easier to maintain.

Admin user still gets no permission 1.4.4

I have installed a brand new 1.4.4 Zabbix server. Every time I try to press the button "ADD" and make changes to any entity (hosts, groups, ecc), I get no permission error.

                What's wrong ?
