Some stuff I found during my upgrade for 1.1.6 to 1.4.1
BUGS:
-After the upgrade, when I re-connect hosts to the templates, they lose all their data for items that are the same in the host and the newly applied template. Similarly with triggers, but there isn't data there. The only data remaining is for items that are specific to the host, all other data is gone! Strangely this wasn't the case across the board. It applied to about 75% of the hosts.
...A little more info here. It seems the templates are linked to the hosts, even though it doesn't show it as linked in PHP interface. If I do go ahead and link the template to the hosts, I lose all the data to the similar items.
MINOR ISSUES:
-When adding hosts, I use active only agents, yet it requires an IP address? If I did enter an IP, it would be useless because its behind a firewall.
COOL:
-I love the mass update feature when editing items
-I'm starting to use the Applications feature now. Seems tidy.
