Hopefully this screen cap says it all. I can't create a graph using a template. I think it might be because the description of the item uses variables. Not sure. See attachment.

I cannot reproduce this. More details or step-by-step instructions required. -
Alexei- Since this upgrade, I have noticed a lot of weird items, etc in the system and somewhere it listed a server that I haven't seen in over a year.
I'm thinking that my DB is a little out of sync. I started with alphas (1.1) and have had to make changes to the DB once or twice to fix things. I was always very careful, but I imagine that bugs in the php interface and me have probably caused this.
Would my DB 'syncness' cause this issue? It was working in 1.1.7, but it seems there is quite a bit that is different now.
Also, is there a poor man's way with some crude SQL commands to check DB syncness. Maybe between the items table, and the hosts table?Last edited by bbrendon; 02-07-2007, 19:23.Comment

solution!
I figured it out, but it would still be nice if there was a way to check if the DB is in sync, which appears to have been my problem.
I deleted this host and the triggers associated to it. I also found a trigger that was associated to it with an invalid description based on the host. Strange.
After manually trying to sync the DB, I can create templated graphs again.
