    Zabbix maps

    Hi all,
I'm starting using zabbix (version 1.4) during these days.
Now I have a problem with the maps: I can't understand the meaning of the links color (better, I can't understand the meanng of the links) in a map.

I guess the link is related to the network physical structure, but I can associate also a trigger to a link: what should be the expected behaviour of a link? I can obtain only links of the same color, also for links connecting hosts with some specific problem.

    Thenak you

you can simply connect hosts via link to show your network topology but you can also add a trigger to it- if you add a trigger, linkcolor active will be used to display that trigger condition is true. e.g. you have a switch and connect some hosts to it and add trigger for itemkey "status" to it with active color "red", other colors black, you will see the link red if your host is down.
