SMS Sending Problem

Hello, I am trying to send SMS using a GSM Modem GDW11.
When i try sending SMS through Minicon, it works perfectly.
But when Zabbix tries to send SMS, the following error is received :

Read something unexpected from GSM modem. Expected [+OK: ]

After like 30 sec's the error is changed with this one :

Read something unexpected from GSM modem. Expected [+CMGS: ]

Well it turns out that you can only send SMS upto 160 characters.
That is ofcourse the standard.
But should it be not trimming the message down to 2-3 sms...as requried...

Another Problem...

Why is the SMS being sent 3 times...???
And even though i am sending the sms, i still receive the error

i read a few other posts and they were having the same problems.
No Solution yet ??
