Scheduled maintenance window

Dear all,

I am using zabbix1.4, I would liek to know if we can define the scheduled maintenance window. For eg:- there should be no database monitoring during backup.

We should not get specific alerts durign a particular period of time in a day.

Can somebody help em with this

You could define timeframes in your actions at which you would like to receive messages.This way it will only send an alert when the backup isn't running.
