Frontend: Not more than 7 Graph Items

It is not possible to create a graph item to a graph if there are already seven graph items on it. I tried with multiple graphs and constelations. The gui stops working on the 8th item I want to create ...

The popupwindow does not disappear if try to add a new graph item and the new item is not added.

The problem seems to exist in all 1.4 versions including latest (current) revision 4452.

You seems to hit a memory limit set in php.ini:

memory_limit = 32M

Increase this number and restart Apache.

Increasing the memory limit unfortunately does not help.

I have Apache2 and PHP 5.2.0-8 running with a memory limit of 64Mb and an excecution time of 600. I changed the error reporting for php to full including notes but it does not complain about a memory limit or something. There is even no other error in the error log.

Can anyone els reproduce this error?

What do you mean saying "the gui stops wotking"? What exactly do you see?

When you add a graph item a browser window pops up where you choose the element and color and so on. If you click on "add" in the popup the window disappears and the new graph item is displayed in the graph overview.

This work for the first seven graph items. But not for the 8th. If you click on "add" in the popup the windows does not close but reloads. The graph overview is no updated ....

I found out that the problem only exists in microsoft internet explorer (I am using version 6,0,2900).

I tried to add a new graph item with Firefox and it works!

I do not know what this error is about ... but it looks not like a zabbix problem.

i got this problem too

when i wanted to add the 8th item data into a graph, zabbix just wouldnt let me. seems that it has reaches a limit for something.

however after adding 7 items onto 1 graph i feel it is crampy and not readable even with different colors.

therafter i split 5 items each on 2 graphs to solve the "max item created for a graph" problem and for readability.
