    Counter32 unsupported type

    Hi,

Having a few problems with V 1.4.1 but I also had them in previous versions.

When adding an item to a host with the OID for a VPN bytes in/ out I always get unsupported.

I the logs I have the error message that Counter32 is unsupported type.

Does this mean I cannot use these MIBs with Zabbix, I have tried all of the variable types but no luck.

Anyone know how to fix/workaround this?

    Cheers

Have u tried to declare the item as float ?

Plz. post the oid u r using
    snmp v1 agent
    1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1 works for me

snmp port setting ? do u get other snmp values from the device ?

I tried a float same error.

      The OID is : 1.3.6.1.4.1.3224.4.1.35.0 SNMP V2

Other SNMP values work for this device yes.

      Cheers

I cannot reproduce this. Counter32 works absolutely fine.
