Hi,
I have two phisycal locations (A and B). In each location, I have two Windows Domain Controllers.
Location A: DC 1 and DC 2
Location B: DC 3 and DC 4
I'm monitoring the availability of these by icmpping item and works fine. I define a trigger associate with this item with severity "Average" and if this trigger is true send a message to MS Admins.
Well...
But, I want to define a trigger to generate alert with severity "Disaster" if both DC of same location are down.
In your opinion, what's the best way to do this? Can I define a trigger with conditions about items from different hosts?
And... If I want to do the same with a citrix farm?
How can I do this:
Citrix Farm
1 Citrix Server down: Warning
2 Citrix Servers down: Average
3 or more Citrix Servers down: High
thanks for your suggestions.
