[1.4.2] Permissions Issues

I have created a Zabbix Admin user who has Read/Write Permissions for one Host Group and all other Host Groups are Denied. It is a brand new install of Zabbix.

When I log in as that Admin User I can see all other Hosts and Host Groups in the Monitoring - Overview Screen. I can see and modify all Hosts and Host Groups in Configuration - Hosts screen.
I can see all Hosts and Host Groups in Monitoring - Latest Data. When I look at the Graphs for Hosts that have been Denied in the Permissions I get "Access Denied".

This Permissions issue has been reported and fixed in the past versions of Zabbix and always seems to be broken with new versions. This is getting really frustrating.

user permissions

i want to add my comments about the management of users/groups permissions inside Zabbix.

The system is better than in previous 1.1.x releases, but need to be more powerfull.

I'd like to have the possibility to give a group permissions based on rules like :

every hostgroups but hostgroup1
and
hostA
and
all menus items but Reports

etc, etc..
