What is the difference between the Processor Load and CPU Load ?

We have 2 items

1). system.cpu.util[]

It returns the Procesor Load in percent.

2). system.cpu.load[]

It returns the Processor Load in Float. (What are the units for this load ?)

Do the two items perform the same operation ?

Nope, system.cpu.load[] is Load Average value (nuber of processes which are in state RUN at once).
