    NodeNoEvents & NodeNoHistory

    Code:
    :: More flexible node configuration

    New parameters, NodeNoEvents and NodeNoHistory, controls if a node should send events and historical data to a master node.

    :: Improved front-end to show data from multiple nodes

    ZABBIX GUI can optionally display information of a single node or the node and its all child nodes.
    may i ask where to find this options? i dont see any data from slave nodes on overview but logfiles do not show any error. seems like nodes are in sync.

    Please tell me where i can use NodeNoEvents and NodeNoHistory. Thanks

    seems like its a zabbix_server.conf var missing in misc/conf templates.
    would you mind to explain behavior and how i have to configure it?

    i try to get 3 nodes in sync

    cmtadb1 (muc NodeID=1 master), cmtadb2 (muc NodeID=2 remote)
    zabb2 (South Afrcia NodeID=2 remote)

    db1 and db2 have more or less identically setup/config/hosts but alerting is done by db2. (i will make a trigger and fire a remote script on db1, if db2 is away script will do something like "update alarms set status active where status disabled".

    db1 will be cluster master and the (GUI) home, also failover for db2s alerting as described above- so i need all history data and stuff send to db1 from both nodes.

    but as i posted initially, i cannot see any data from slaves. (yet just zabb2)

    is NodeNoHistory active as a default?

        All nodes must have an unique NodeID. By default, all data (history, events, trends, configs) is synced between nodes.
