    Looping during setup.

After completing the setup script, I select finish and it keeps taking me back to the pre-requisites part of the process. It keeps telling me that my configuration is fine and it passes all tests. This is a centos 5 box running with all mysql and php updates.

    Thanks.

That worked, do I have to change a file on my side to use the hostname?

      Thanks.

you shouldn't HAVE to. when you finish the install, it should trigger the normal screens. perhaps the permissions aren't set properly in you zabbix "public_html" folder. did you follow any directions when installing on ubuntu? perhaps these will help: http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/doku.php?...:ubuntuinstall

you CAN edit your apache settings to point http://<zabbixserver> to your /zabbix directory. just edit your /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default. I THINK that you basically have to change the alias of your zabbix front end from /zabbix to /. some simple google work sould turn up the info on that.

I would personally recommend trying to make it work right. Whenever I work around something like this, it bites me in the rear end later
