zabbix agentd not starting 1.4.2

os - freebsd 6.2 with last updates ... /tmp/zabbix_agentd.log is empty, only in /var/log/messages this error

config file is default, ports not used by other applications , i checked all premissions is ok ...

Seems an Exit 12 implies a process attempted to use syscalls that the kernel does not support. Are you sure you compiled the agent properly? Did you use any special configure options? What about the kernel, is it stock or a custom compilation? IIRC, someone posted a thread about getting zabbix up and running on FreeBSD 6.2. Have a look at that thread (not sure where it is, search the forum for "FreeBSD").
