trigger for icmpping between 00-06 at night

    Hi,

need a trigger for icmpping between 00am till 06am.

    ({host.egal.de:icmpping.nodata(0)}=0) &({host.egal.de:icmpping.time(0)}>000000) &({host.egal.de:icmpping.time(0)}<060000)

    doesn´t work.

    thx

I have still problems with the "time" function. If I use the example from the documentation (with a host running zappix-agent)
    Code:
    ({ruge:system[procload].nodata(180)}=1)&({ruge:system[procload].time(0)}>000000)& ({ruge:system[procload].time(0)}<060000)
    this error message returns:
    Code:
    [ERROR:Invalid trigger expression]

    can someone help me?

Get rid of spaces (' &' -> '&') and retry. Hopefully it'll fix this issue.

It seems that users "stumble" from time to time (as did i) by putting in spaces where no spaces are allowed.

Would it be an option to make the software less sensitive in regards of spaces, especially in items?

Yes, as soon as all planned functionality of 1.1 is implemented, and 1.1beta1 is released, I'll swtich to usability and cosmetic issues. Please, be patient!
