HP Server / RAID check with SNMP

Hi,

it seems , that the template for Insight Manager is not working
for the HP Smart Array E200i onboard controller.It is a HP ML 350G5 server.

The disk status is not delivered, it seems that there are other OID´s
used for that controller.
In general the template works, but not for the disks.

Has anyone already found out the OID´s.
There are delivered a lot´s of MIB´s with the server, but I couldn not
found any information about the controller.

I'm monitoring my HP RAIDs with my own ccissmon, which uses cciss_vol_status. What's your OS?

Hi,

We are using W2K3 SBS as operating system.
The HP agent is running already, so there should be already a SNMP value
for the RAID. But I was not able to find the right value.

Thats one thing I hate about HP - they have the MIB's but they send so damn many of them and dont really provide any help as to where to look for the information you need. The few times I needed something I had to load each mib into a browser and look through the data until I found what I was pretty sure I was looking for.
