    openSuSE 10.3 and zabbix installation

I'm having some trouble getting zabbix_server to run. I'm not sure what is going on with this mess I got myself in to ;p

I seem to have done everything correctly except the services part and launching the server. When I launch /usr/local/sbin/zabbix_server it seems to launch but then "ps aux | grep zabbix_server" returns only the grep command.

Could anyone help me go over a few things? Ask me a few questions I might be overlooking. Thanks a bunch!

    Hi,

I have running zabbix on Suse 10.3

There are log files in /tmp from server and agent.,
Have a look at that, maybe the db connection has failed.

Ha! You hit the nail right on the head! Although I didn't find any logs in /tmp, I went ahead and double checked my zabbix_server.conf and realized I never uncommented the DB password

Also if you could maybe help me out with something else?

I would like to get some info on a bunch of windows processes, like CPU load/utilization, RAM usage, and network utilization as well.

I see proc_info but it doesn't seem to have the information I would like to pull. What can I use?

        WIndows Server Info

I use the standard Windows Template, that gives already a lot of information.

Yeah, I want to add a few things to it. That template doesn't let me do a lot of the things I would like to.

Does anyone have any additional resources aside from the manual?
