Accent and frontend

Hello,

As we use French version, when we type accents (é,è,ê,à etc etc) Zabbix don't show complete sentence, ex:

[2007.Nov.26 10:13:09] 2007.Nov.26 03:03:16 SNMP Information Le service SNMP a d

When we expected :

[2007.Nov.26 10:13:09] 2007.Nov.26 03:03:16 SNMP Information Le service SNMP a démarré

This example is from log events notification, but we have the same problem when we create items, or action.

Did somebody find a tip to resolve that?

MySql database is encoding in UTF-8 is that the problem?? :s

Also, when exporting hosts, templates, items, triggers... is all right. But if you use extended chars (áéóàèò:...) in name definitions, when import intented appear this error: # XML error: Invalid character at line n

ZABBIX database is not in UTF-8 encoding. Full support of UTF-8 is planned, yet it will not be available neither in 1.4.x nor in 1.6.
