Is Zabbix-1.4.2 compatible with RHEL 4.4? boz zabbix is not running

    Is Zabbix-1.4.2 compatible with RHEL 4.4? boz zabbix is not running

    Hello
    I have installed zabbix-1.4.2 on RHEL 4.4 , during the installation I received no error but when I accessed it in browser, in the tag Report it gave me the message the zabbix server is running No.

    So any one can tell me whats might be the problem, is the zabbix-1.4.2 is compatible with RHEL 4.4 or not. If its compatible then where the problem exists.

      It is compatible with all decent Linux distributions including RedHat. You see this probably because of strict PHP security settings, so GUI is unable to determine if ZABBIX server is running or not.
