Cannot initgroups to zabbix ??

Hello!
I upgraded to Zabbix 1.4.3.
All agents were working fine on the hosts except one.

On that particular host, i am getting the following error when i try to run zabbix agentd as user zabbix:

zabbix_agentd [8577]: Cannot initgroups to zabbix [Operation not permitted].


I am aware this change was induced in 1.4.3 (Zabbix should be run as an initgroup)

When i switch to super user, root, the Zabbix Agent starts and then exits.

So, there were two things which were causing this problem:

1. The user Zabbix was assigned to root group. (changed the rights)

2. The Zabbix Agent crash in case of timeout during first connect. (fixed in 1.4.4).
