    1.4.1 External check Syntax

    Hi, forum
    Zabbix-server version:1.4.1
I have upgarade the 1.4 in 1.4.1 for a problem of "process child death" however....

I have tried to implement a "External check".
Problem: External check [zabFW1Ping.sh[]] is not supported
Log: Parameter [zabFW1Ping.sh[]] is not supported by agent on host
Well, in the 1.4 the syntax is zabFW1Ping.sh() in 1.4.1 zabFW1Ping.sh() isn't accepted... (Before upgrade The external checks work correctly)
for this I must use zabFW1Ping.sh[].

Now If zabFW1Ping.sh[] is an external check, why does zabbix_server ask to the agent the parameter zabFW1Ping.sh[]? :-/

    PS
    I don't want upgrade.

Obviously because the item is not defined as an external check.

would not the tipe denify the items?
If I specify Type: External check,
The server would execute an external check independently to the key.
I can write any thing in the key "test.sh[]" "unknow.sh[]" an so.

      1)search the scipt test.sh or unknow.sh in /etc/zabbix/externalscripts/
      2)if found execute the script

In case of Syntax Error, Zabbix tell me the error... but "Parameter [zabFW1Ping.sh[]] is not supported by agent on host"..... it is strange

Anyway without upgrade I can't set External Check, correct?
Well I do a workaround... and so
