Data collection stops with 1.4.4 agent

I wonder if ZBX-192 is really solved with 1.4.4 release...

I have upgraded my server and several clients from 1.4.2 to 1.4.4 but data collection still stops randomly )on all clients and never restart. For the moment I do not know if it is due to a connexion loss but it all stops at the same time!

Here is information reported in log file:
24801:20071219:141033 Getting list of active checks failed. Will retry after 60 seconds
24801:20071219:141136 Timeout while answering request


It is a very critical pb since it stops client monitoring...

We are having exactly the same issue on some servers.

2 are reporting as follows, but monitoring works.

25230:20071228:225331 Getting list of active checks failed. Will retry after 60 seconds

Another one is reporting

 15744:20071229:093228 Timeout while answering request
 15744:20071229:093228 Getting list of active checks failed. Will retry after 60 seconds

On the last server, monitoring is not working.

There should not be any network issues of which I'm aware. All three are set up exactly the same.

Client 1.4.1 and 1.4.4 do the same thing

I am having the same issue with client 1.4.1 and 1.4.4 except on mostly, random machines. The machines that do have the problem may have a higher load. I was hoping the v1.6 client/server would be out by now since most of the development effort is focused on the new version.
