Graph import in 1.4.4 (distributed) not working correctly

    Hello all,

I made a bunch of templates on our primary node in our new and shiny 1.4.4 distributed setup.
I can export these templates to XML without any problems. (I examined the file with a text editor, it looks ok and contains everything)

Then I switched nodes in the webgui of the primary server and imported the template xml.
However, Graphs were still missing (items and triggers got through ok)

The odd thing is that the nodes that are monitored by the primary server that use this template now had all the graphs twice. I had the option to select the same graph twice. Retrying the import resulted in having three times the graph in my node config.

It seems to me that when using the GUI of the primary server to import xml, the graphs somehow end up in the database of the primary server instead of the distributed node.

I will try what happens when I log directly in to the node and import the templates.

Problem is that the primary server still contains the duplicate entries. So far the only way of correcting this is:
    • export the templates
    • correct the XML file, which now contains replica's
    • unlink your hosts
    • delete the templates
    • reimport the tamplates
    • relink the hosts

    Problem reported as ZBX-244.

When logging in to the node manualy, import works fine.
Beware the import of templates that use graphs in a distributed setup!!!
    With kind regards,
