Zabbix server stops receiving active data

Hi All,

I'm currently testing some things with zabbix. I've installed zabbix 1.4.4 on a Centos 5 box.

Monitoring my local servers are no problem but i now activated some checks thru 'zabbix agent(active)' settings. One server is local and 6 remote servers.
The problem is that after approx. 1.5 hours my zabbix server stops receiving/processing the data from the active checks (both local and remote) but normal zabbix agent data (where server queries the agent) are no problem.

I only need to restart my zabbix server process and active data is being processed again (for 1.5 hours).

Does somebody encounter these issues?

I hope somebody can help me with this problem.

Do you experience high Load Average when zabbix server
stops processing data?

Are there any errors in zabbix_agentd(s) log file(s)
during the time when zabbix_server doesn't process data?
