The Status Of Server is now OK ! It's a first good think. But the server seems to not arrive to join the client. I'm going to check errors and I contact you Monday. Thank you for your help !

        Hi,

I've tested the Zabbix Server with Clients. First, I've installed the agent on the server, it's running perfectly for the server's surveillance. But, others computers no.

        I've pasted the 3 agent files in c:\win32\zabbix_agentd.exe - ... - ....
        I've created the file : zabbix_agent.conf in c:\

        I've launched the zabbix_agentd.exe

I've created a new host on the zabbix server but I've this :

Windows_XP_Test xx.xx.xx.xx 10050 Template_Windows Surveillé Pas disponible Cannot connect to [xx.xx.xx.xx:10050] [Connection refused]

The server can't join the client...
There is no firewall on the client.

        Any ideas ? Thanks

I've passed to join a Linux client. But not Windows.

          Always the same problem :

Poste_Vista xx.xx.xx.xxx 10050 Template_Windows Surveillé Pas disponible Cannot connect to [xx.xx.xx.xxx:10050] [Connection refused]

Can you do me a favor and post your agent conf file for Windows?

Also, are you using the prebuilt binaries for Windows or did you compile them?

Lastly, how did you install the zabbix agent on Windows?

I have run into a few issues before with Windows agents, but have had no problems at all with the latest 1.4.4 binaries that are provided (they even work on systems that were once problematic for me).

                Hi,

I have an new problem with Zabbix.

The server is running perfectly, agents on Windows XP too.
But on Windows Vista, I don't arrive to install the zabbix agent service.

                I've created the file : c:\zabbix_agentd.conf.
I've downloaded the three files on Zabbix Website.

                I launch :
                "c:\zabbix_agentd.exe --install"
And I've an error message :

zabbix_agentd.exe [3740]: ERROR : Cannot connect to Service Manager [Acces Refusé]
                ...
I've disabled the Windows Defender, but the problem is always here.

                Thanks you for helping..

Under VISTA you don't have admin rights in the command line for default.

Start cmd with a right mouse click and choose "run as". Then take the administrator account.

Or push the WIN-Key and type cmd in the run box. Then push Strg+Shift+Enter.
