    few problems

    Hi there,

I have some problems since about 2 weeks. This is what I 've set up:
zabbix server 1.4.4 on fedora 5
zabbix agentd 1.4.4 on freebsd 6.2
I have an item net.tcp.service[http] setup as service. It checks every 60 seconds and says nicely "Up (1)" in "latest data".
When I turn the apache server off, the item stays "Up" in "latest data" only the time of the latest check stops.

Second problem is that when a trigger goes off It sends 4 emails. In events it also shows 4 sent emails every time.

Am I doing something wrong here?

    Thanks,

    Roger

well it sems to be this host only. I tried agentd versions 1.1beta11, 1.1beta9, 1.4.1, 1.4.3 and 1.4.4 with the same result. If I try it on another server with the same configuration it works fine.
Then I deleted the host and reinstalled it; still he same. Then I deleted the host again and installed it again by using another hostname and no IP. Again the same results.
Does anybody have an idea where to look? zabbix_server.log and zabbix_agentd.log don't report any errors.

The 4 emails are sent by all hosts.

This sounds strange indeed. I'm having trouble understanding your setup -- which machine checks what? Which hosts send emails?

I have a zabbix machine in my office, which checks about 10 servers. The zabbix machine is also sending the notification emails.

        Greetings,
