    OpenBSD 4.0 whit sysjail. error Can not create Semaphore [Operation not permitted]

    Hello.

    Im using OpenBSD 4.0 whit sysjails.

    Im trying to run zabbix in a jail...

    but i get this error when i try to start server and agentd.

    zabbix_server [32600]: Can not create Semaphore [Operation not permitted]
    zabbix_server [32600]: Unable to create mutex for log file

    :

    Im geting the fealing that Semaphore is blocked in jail ? (and when i got this error trying to start as user zabbix i tryd to start as root got the same error)

      I had the same problem on my FreeBSD 6.2 jails. Add this to your /etc/rc.conf file:

      Code:
      jail_sysvipc_allow="YES"
      It should work after that.

      Just remember that this opens up a small security hole because the jail can now see (and possibly modify) the host's SysV IPC states. If you need your jail to be completely isolated from the host, forget installing the agent in the jail, and use the "Standalone" checks instead.
