    blank frontend

I install zabbix 1.4.4 on Freebsd 6.2 from ports

I create database and all run fine from phpMyAdmin

When i try to launch the frontend I have a blank page, after a very long delay (but less than 300s so I don't think php max exec time is the problem)

Putting a phpinfo into zabbix/php dir all seem correct

Nothing in /var/log/message, nothing in /var/log/httpd-error.log... I am desperate...

Recheck settings in httpd.conf. This header is not from our frontend.

This is the content given by browser (IE i guess?) when it get no reply from apache, depending of browser (i.e. with safari or FF 2.0 osx) the content is blank
There is problem but nothing in logs, even adding error_reporting(E_ALL) ...
This is very annoying as i'll need to go back to old bad poor nagios/munin...

          hi

This is the content given by browser ie yes.

I have SquirrelMail and other stuff on the httpd and that works.

maybe change the index.php with one testfile, to verify that your webserver is searching at the right place?
The Frontend should always be displayed, as it asks you for all needed parameters (DB, etc...) if started for the first time...

Yes it is at the right place, i put a phpinfo() in index.php and all is fine in it, but when putting zabbix's index.php i got a blank page

This is probably due to php error settings. Most distro's have display_errors off by default.
Check your apache error log what is wrong.

Most common with zabbix webfrontend giving a blank page is a missing but required php module.
Check if you have php_mysql / php_psql (depending on what you are using) installed.
