Macro's passed from trigger to action

I dont know if someone has posted this issue before but:

if I use a macro in a trigger message, for exampe 'Load too high {ITEM.VALUE}' it will display correctly in the webpage but it gets sent to a trigger action as literal text.
So if I use {TRIGGER.NAME} in the action message (which displays the trigger message text) you will receive 'Load too high {ITEM.VALUE}' instead of i.e. 'Load too high 95%' in mail / interface script.

Anybody got a fix / solution for this?

Well, its working as documented, the item.value is only available in a trigger name and similar functions are only available on notification.

But there is no macro which works on both.
Perhaps this should be proposed as a feature request for 1.6 as i didn't see this in the roadmap or changelog.
