cannot open /tmp/zabbix_suckerd.pinger

I start zabbix_suckerd and I keep getting the message:

cat: cannot open /tmp/zabbix_suckerd.pinger

zabbix_suckerd.pinger is not in /tmp

I'm on Solaris 8, if that matters.

What is wrong?
