    Item.Lastvalue not working in notifications

    Hi there,

    I upgrade to 1.4 as I'd like to monitor eventlogs on windows machines....

    I added {ITEM.LASTVALUE} to the message area on my notifications but Zabbix doesn't expand the macro to the last value. Nor for ping neither for eventlogs...

    It seemed that the macro wasn't recognized... First I thought the migration to 1.4 failed but the zabbix_server I startet said:

    Code:
    zabbix_server -V
    ZABBIX Server (daemon) v1.4.4 (17 December 2007)
    Compilation time:  Jan 28 2008 15:50:55
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Make sure that you run 1.4.4, which is installed into sbin/ by default starting from 1.4.2.

        Oh shit,

        Code:
        which zabbix_server
        said

        Code:
        /usr/local/sbin/zabbix_server
        that was fine.

        But the init.d script said

        Code:
        # Variables
        # Edit these to match your system settings

                # Zabbix-Directory
                # changed to sbin --- dvo
                BASEDIR=/usr/local/sbin

                # Binary File
                BINARY_NAME=zabbix_server
        I changed the BASEDIR to 'sbin' and now it works like expected....

        Thank for your response.
