    question about regexp.

    Hello,

    i have a question about regexp in zabbix. When i use vfs.file.regexp[fi
    le, regexp] with a regulair expression witch i use on linux, it returns me a value that i not expect. It add's a D to the string and returns it.

    Is this a normal behavior? Can i use every reguliar expression from linux with zabbix?

    It's no problem if this is not possible. I have written a view vbscripts witch can do the same.

    Please give more details. I am interested in content of the file, regular expression and result on ZABBIX side.

      this is the contents of my file:
      800upd29=1658
      800upd30=1660
      800upd31=1767
      800upd32=1768
      basename=800upd
      update=905
      release=600

      this is my key in zabbix:
      vfs.file.regexp[c:\zabbix\upd_avail.ini,^update=.*]

      it returns: update=905d

      and my grep:
      cat upd_avail.ini | grep ^update=.*
      it returns: update=905

      strange: when i do the same with the release=600 string it works and zabbix returns release=600
