Item with External check Not supported

I have script wich gives me 0 (FLASE) and 1 (TRUE). Sometimes in zabbix items menu i see Status = Not supported

After few hours same items are Active.

Is there any limit for script answer? My script some times can took about 2-3sec for reply. Or maybe problem is somewhere else?

enable lvl 3 or 4 logging in the zabbix_agentd.conf and check the errors in the logfile when this happens. It will give you extra info on the problem.

Why in zabbix_agentd.conf ?

I'm using external checks, not agents. Maybe in zabbix_server.conf ?

oh, sorry i misread, yeah zabbix_server.conf and also set the max logfile size of the server to a larger number (default is 1 meg i think)

also have your script log all commands it and output to an extra file, regular debugging.
