        very helpfull, but trigger errors

        Thank you Marco for this excelent job. But we got many trigger errors after the raid disk discovery:

        for example:

        Warning Raid disks: Problem on bbl1sto1 disk data disk 0a.18 {bbl1sto1:raidStatus[data disk 0a.18].avg(0)}#1 Enabled Error

        Error: Evaluation failed for function: {bbl1sto1:raidStatus[data disk 0a.18].avg(0)}

        The same thing for the Luns and Volumes.

        Do you have any idea, why?

        Thanks in advance

        Regards,

        Ilja

          I'm sorry, I have no idea , I simple get value thru snmp ... could be a syntax problem (probably the spaces in disk name).

            nvramBatteryStatus trigger is incorrect (if value > 1)

            It should trigger an error if 2 <= value <= 8

            the mibs says:
            nvramBatteryStatus OBJECT-TYPE
            SYNTAX INTEGER {
            ok(1),
            partiallyDischarged(2),
            fullyDischarged(3),
            notPresent(4),
            nearEndOfLife(5),
            atEndOfLife(6),
            unknown(7),
            overCharged(8),
            fullyCharged(9)

            cfState oid: NETWORK-APPLIANCE-MIB::sysStat.cf.cfState.0
            cfSettings oid: NETWORK-APPLIANCE-MIB::cfSettings.0

              I had found an error in the trigger prototype definition:

              I had:
              {Template NetApp:LunSnapStatus[{#SNMPVALUE}].avg(0)}#2
              I changed it to:
              {Template NetApp:LunSnapStatus[{#SNMPVALUE}].last(0)}#2

              Now I have no errors in GUI and get my trigger actions too.
              I think this incorrect definition was in the template, please check it.

              Thank you!

                    Thanks for this, however the volume "used space" item prototype returns KByte values, not Bytes for me (FAS-2240, ONTAP 8.1). I used the "custom multiplier" to fix this.

                      netapp template

                      I am new to zabbix, I've imported the template netapp.xml to zabbix, what's next? say if I want to setup the trigger for volume utilization is over 90% full, or setup the graph of volume grows.
                      Thanks

                        I just used this template and I have to say, awesome job, thank you so much.

                        jalite19: To answer your question, import the template, add the template to the host, change the snmp community string. The autodiscovery will find the luns, disks, drives so it will automatically set up all the triggers.

                          Hi, thanks a lot for this great template!

                          Only one remark: I have the same problem as Zilog Jones about space usage report. There is a factor 1000.

                          A question also:

                          I am running deduplication every day around midnight and receive then an alert regarding CPU usage. Is there a method to activate that trigger all the time but not between 23:00 and 01:00 for example?

                          Thank you!

                            Hi vongillus
                            Time based triggers - Look at trigger example 9 here:

                            Br
                            Erik
