Hi all,
I've had Zabbix running for a couple of years, and the database is about 23GB in size (based on observations of the mysqldump file). It takes a while to back up when I'm doing upgrades - are there any features I can use to shrink the size of the database, such as throwing data older than x years, or whatnot? I can't find any docs that might indicate how to do database maintenance on the zabbix server itself.
Is 23GB of data in the db a problem?
We're using MariaDB (MySQL) as the db, on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and currently at Zabbix version 5.0.21 installed from the repositories.
Cheers,
James
