Upgrade Zabbix 6.0 to 7.0 problem

hello,

I tried to upgrade my zabbix server to 6.0 LTS -> 7.0LTS.

I followed instructions here : https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../debian_ubuntu

I did :

- service zabbix-server stop
- rm -Rf /etc/apt/sources.list.d/zabbix.list
- wget https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/7.0/d...bian12_all.deb
- apt-get update
- apt-get install --only-upgrade zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-frontend-php zabbix-agent

it doesn't want to update mysql and zabbix agent.



I tried :

- sudo apt update
- apt list --upagradable
- sudo apt install -> error.

IDK what is packages 1:5.4.12-1+debian11 ?? 1:7.0.0 , 1:6.0.18-1 and why debian 11 ?



So i'm blocked.

Your Debian seems to be 11 (bullseye), not 12 (bookworm). First you need to upgrade Debian to 12 as there is no Zabbix 7.0 server for 11.

My Debian upgrade process for the reference (remember backups, and YMMV):

change bullseye to bookworm in /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade --without-new-pkgs
sudo apt full-upgrade
sudo reboot
sudo apt install zabbix-server-mysql (...)

I upgraded the debian version to Bookworm.
