This is the monitoring of the outdoor radio Ubiquiti PowerBeam M5-300. I applied to the host the template 'Template Net Ubiquiti AirOS SNMPv1', and it came with some prototype items. The ath0 (atheros - wifi), br0 (bridge), eth0 (ethernet) and wifi0 interfaces were discovered. Interface item prototype ath0: Interface type informs that for all interfaces the same value is 'ethernetCsmacd (6)'. However, Speed reports that only eth0 has 100mbps, while ath0, br0, wifi0 always registers 0Mbps. The item key is 'net.if.speed [ifSpeed. {# SNMPINDEX}]'. Why is this value 0 Mbps? And would it really be useful for me to monitor these four interfaces? If so, when?

Because the speed of these radio outdoor interfaces is 0 Mbps?

Could it be that those interfaces are disabled/not used ? Talk to your engineer/supplier/vendor. To answer your second question do the same. Nothing really to do with zabbix - to monitor properly your device you need to know a bit about it ...documentation of the device, somebody whos is responsible for it, your vendor....if its you than you have to find out on your own

I disabled interfaces that are not used by the radio.
