Host Discovery and Registration - VMware and OS Agent as separate Hosts

I have added our VMware hosts and the discovery has gone through picking up all our VM's. I have Zabbix Agent 2 installed on a bunch of Windows VM's and discovery is picking them up and apply the Host Group I've defined.

The issue I have now is, if I apply any templates...

I want to configure zabbix to automatically attach certain templates to certain servers based on hostname.
for example, our CRM servers have CRM in their hostname and we have a CRM template and I want new CRM servers discovered by zabbix to have the template added to them upon discovery....

Hi everybody !
I have a problem with my discovery rules. I made some rules to discover hosts on different networks by using pings.

The problem is when I disable a rule the pings are still sent !
Every time I want to stop a discover I have to restart Zabbix server...

I'll have each host check for the existence of a machine named zabbix-<my 3rd octet>, and if it is found, modify the zabbix_agentd.conf and insert that hostname in front of the default server.

- First create an Auto-Discovery Rule with 2 or more Discovery Checks.
- Then try to create a Discovery Action, with a Condition based on the second Discovery Check.
- Can't select second Discovery...
