I have added our VMware hosts and the discovery has gone through picking up all our VM's. I have Zabbix Agent 2 installed on a bunch of Windows VM's and discovery is picking them up and apply the Host Group I've defined.
The issue I have now is, if I apply any templates it adds the items to the existing VMware discovery Host. I'd like to add a second Host rather than combine them. When installing the agent I entered the FQDN for the Host name and confirmed via the conf file for the agent. I was hoping I could use that as a unique identifier for a 'new' Host but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I assume what I'm trying to do is possible but I'm not sure where to look to make it happen. Any advice would be appreciated.
